The Center for Educational Studies & Research at the Faculty of Pedagogy, organized an educational meeting entitled “Recent Research Outputs by Professors from the Faculty of Pedagogy,” featuring presentations by Dr. Iman Khalil, Dr. Joumana Akiki, Dr. Mona Younis, and Dr. Amin Elias.
After the speakers' biographies were presented by the meeting coordinator, Dr. Rania Dabaj, Dr. Khalil presented her research entitled “Towards a competency framework for professors-researchers in research methodology and supervision” published in 2024 in the International Journal of Higher Education Pedagogies (IJHEP) and includes a reference framework for the competencies of research professors in teaching research methodology and supervising academic research.
Dr. Akiki then presented her research entitled "School Experience of Students with Motor Disabilities in Inclusive Environments", published in 2024 in La Nouvelle Revue – Inclusive Education and Society. The study addresses the perceptions of students with motor disabilities in their school environment and highlights the importance of the social dimension in the integration experience.
Dr. Younes presented a study entitled “The Importance of Human Resource Governance in the Education Sector in Lebanon,” published in the sixth issue of “Alddad” magazine in 2024. The study is based on a scientific survey to diagnose current practices and propose ways to improve human resource management in the education sector.
Dr. Elias concluded the presentations with his research entitled “The History of Ideas and Mentalities,” which will be published in July 2025 in the journal “Ostour” published by the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies. The research reviews Beirut's transformation during the 20th century into an intellectual and modern platform reflecting cultural and political changes.
