
The Institute of Social Sciences – Branch 3 organized a training workshop for third-year students – bachelor’s degree, which covered the basics of quantitative research using SPSS software and was presented by Dr. Sonia Bitar.
Dr. Bitar explained how to enter, process, and analyze data using a number of statistical operations, giving examples from field research.
Dr. Bitar emphasized the importance of mastering this program for sociology students, given their reliance on it to analyze their field research data and draw accurate scientific conclusions, which contributes to enhancing their research skills and enabling them to produce evidence-based social studies based on quantitative data.
