The Lebanese University “A” - Branch 3 team won the full score in the rapid chess championship organized by Beirut Arab University - Tripoli Branch with the participation of teams from 8 universities and higher institutes.

The Lebanese University team won the first place for the teams by winning the 8 rounds that made up the tournament, while the team of the Higher Institute for Applied and Economic Sciences (CNAM) of the Lebanese University came second and the team of Beirut Arab University “A” came third.

In singles, the Lebanese University took first, second, and fourth place thanks to Samir Dbahibi, Essam Ibrahim (team captain), and Osama Oweida.
