The Center for Languages & Translation at the Faculty of Letters & Human Sciences, in cooperation with the Italian Embassy in Beirut and the Italian Cultural Center, organized a training workshop on "Teaching Italian as a Foreign Language", which focused on the emotional and social aspects of the foreign language acquisition process.

The training course was inaugurated in the presence of the Director of the Italian Cultural Center in Beirut, Dr. Angelo Joy, the First Secretary at the Embassy, Ms. Valeria Bianconi, the CLT Director, Dr. Layal Merhi, and the Italian language coordinator at the Center, Ms. Caterina Carlini.

The three-day training was attended by professors and students from various Lebanese universities and institutes.
