FEBA - Branch 3 participates in a competition on Asset Management & Investment

A team of students from the Faculty of Economics & Business Administration - Branch 3 participated in the LSEG Workspace Portfolio Competition 2025, organized remotely by the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) over five consecutive weeks.

 

The competition is an advanced international educational platform in the field of asset management and investment, and allowed students to apply their financial knowledge by creating and managing virtual investment portfolios using the LSEG Workspace platform, which is currently used in portfolio management and financial market analysis.

 

Participants were tested on:

  • Risk Assessment
  • Financial Forecasting
  • Portfolio Analytics
  • Financial Valuation
  • Investment asset performance analysis by making investment decisions based on quantitative and qualitative analysis.

 

The faculty team included:

  • Nancy Katoub – M1 in Finance
  • Mostafa Diab – M1 Finance
  • Ghina Al-Hassan – M1 in Finance
  • Fatima Hassoun – M2 in Finance
  • Hachem Abou Lebde – M2 in Finance

 

Dr. Sara Makhoul accompanied the students and supervised their work with the support of Centre MINE, which works to enable students to access applied learning opportunities and participate in academic and professional competitions at the national and international levels.
