Mini chess tournament at the Faculty of Engineering - Branch 1
The ULFG1 Chess Club organized a mini tournament following the Swiss System and the event featured high-level matches and remarkable sportsmanship.
The results were as follows:
First place: Osama Awida, second-year student, Common Core Department, achieved a perfect score by winning 4 out of 4 rounds.
Second place: Aisha Karkoubi, first-year student, Common Core Department, after tie-breaks were applied to determine the final ranking.
Third place: Abdulaziz Othman – second-year student, Common Core Department.
