A new phase of cooperation between the Legal Informatics Center and the Ministry of Justice
The head of the Legal Informatics Center, Dr. Bilal Abdallah, accompanied by Dr. Mahmoud Rammal and Dr. Mona Al-achkar, visited the Minister of Justice, Mr. Adel Nassar.
The meeting discussed the long-standing partnership between the Center and the Ministry and ways to take it to a higher level. In this context, Minister Nassar expressed genuine interest in the Center's scientific achievements and technical insights, expressing his firm conviction that the modernization of public administration cannot be achieved in isolation from specialized academic expertise.
Minister Nassar emphasized that the digital transformation in the legal field requires institutional courage in decision-making and a clear political will to support any initiative that brings justice closer to citizens and shortens the distance to access it.
Minister Nassar also affirmed the Ministry of Justice's openness to any proposal that enhances transparency and improves performance efficiency.
It is well known that, over decades, the Legal Information Center has established comprehensive legal databases that include and document judicial rulings, preserve and classify the official gazette, and make effective legal texts and specialized studies available to anyone who needs them.
The Center has also continuously developed legal research tools and methods, making access to accurate legal information a right rather than a privilege.
