Exhibition by the FFAA at the French Institute addresses issues affecting women and youth
The Faculty of Fine Arts & Architecture in collaboration with Expertise France, held an exhibition for students at the French Institute – Beirut, featuring 32 works of art, including paintings and installations, selected from among 150 projects from the faculty's four departments.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts & Architecture, Dr. Hisham Zeineddine, and the directors of the four branches of the faculty, Engineer Nawal Boudani, Engineer Bernard Ghoussob, Dr. Issam Obeid, and Dr. Zaher Abdul Khalek, in addition to a group of professors, administrators, and representatives from the European Union, the French Embassy, and Expertise France, represented by Director Firas Talhouk, Professor Joulia Bou Karroum, and Dr. Gulnar Wakim.
Dean Zeineddine gave a speech in which he praised the students' efforts in completing their artwork, emphasizing the importance of art in serving the goals of women's empowerment and promoting gender equality. He noted that the faculty continues to collaborate with local and international associations, playing its role as a center of intellectual, aesthetic, artistic, and cultural influence in Lebanon.
