Coinciding with Resistance and Liberation Day, the Faculty of Technology (Branch 2) organized the Rapid Chess Championship with the participation of students from the Lebanese University and 15 public and private secondary schools.

Participants took part in competitions lasting around 7 hours, after which they learned about the specializations available in the faculties of the Lebanese University.

The activity was monitored by the branch directors, Mr. Rawad Hammoud, Mr. Samer Tamraz, and Mr. Ahmad Najjar, while the organization was supervised by the sports activities department coach, Saïd Kanso.

The Faculty of Technology took the top three places in the overall university rankings thanks to Yamen Nasr, Danny Al Hakim and Ali Jichi.
