The Branch 1 women basketball championship began at the Rafic Hariri - Hadath University Campus, under the supervision of coaches from the Sports Activities Department, Mrs. Amira Yaghi, Mr. Hussein Issa, and Mr. Abdel Karim Fakih.

Matches take place on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays of each week, at 5:00 p.m., with the participation of nine teams from the Faculties of Science, Economics & Business, Dental Medicine, Medical Sciences, Pedagogy, Public Health, Agronomy, Engineering and Fine Arts & Architecture.

In the opening match, the FS team won a crushing victory over the FEBA team (64-7).
