President Bassam Badran received in his office in the Central Administration Building, the Bulgarian Ambassador to Beirut, Iassen Tomov, in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Agronomy, Dr. Nadine Nassif, and the First Secretary in the Consular Section of the Embassy, Mr. Vladislav Kolev.

The meeting discussed developing ways of cooperation with the Lebanese University on several levels, as the Bulgarian ambassador expressed his desire to introduce the Bulgarian language as a teaching subject in the Center for Languages & Translation affiliated with the Faculty of Letters & Human Sciences at the Lebanese University.
