Environmental Initiative at ISS - Branch 3
The Institute of Social Sciences (ISS) - Branch 3 hosted an environmental awareness initiative coordinated by the Al Midan Association in partnership with the Anera Foundation and UNICEF, as part of the “Green Lebanon” initiative aimed at strengthening environmental awareness and social responsibility among young academics.
ISS students participated in a series of interactive and awareness-raising activities on environmental issues, climate change, and volunteerism, in line with the Lebanese University's academic and social role of linking theoretical knowledge to practical application in the field.
The ISS administration provided an organizational framework for the activity, in line with its vision of encouraging students to engage in community action and promoting the values of active citizenship and initiative among them. It also facilitated logistical and academic coordination, which enabled broad student participation and constructive interaction among participants.
