FEBA – Branch 6 participates in a health awareness activity in Rachaya
The Faculty of Economics and Management (FEBA) – Branch 6 participated in a health awareness activity organized by ISSAE - CNAM Lebanon - Rachaya under the title “Together for Health – United in Rachaya.”
The aim of this activity, which was attended by prominent figures from the academic, educational, health, and community sectors, was to raise awareness about health and strengthen knowledge related to mental health, oral health, and healthy eating.
The branch director, Dr. Randa Zeidan, stressed the importance of raising health awareness and disseminating knowledge among community members in a practical and direct manner, highlighting the essential role played by the Lebanese University in implementing initiatives aimed at having a real and positive impact on people's lives, particularly in areas related to mental health, prevention, and nutrition.
For his part, Dr. Ibrahim Bitar, Director of CNAM - Rachaya, presented the main areas of activity related to mental health, oral health, and healthy eating, emphasizing that this initiative is part of an ongoing process aimed at serving Rachaya and the Western Bekaa through educational, health, and social initiatives.
Specialized presentations were then given by Dr. Sonia Chamoun Zino, head of the psychology department at the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences (FLHS) – Branch 4 and member of the disciplinary council of the Order of Psychologists, Dr. Zeina Barbour, a general dentist specializing in pediatric dentistry, and Dr. Sabrine Bahmad Kazzaz, a nutritionist.
The meeting ended with the presentation of honorary plaques to the speakers in recognition of their participation in this awareness day.
