The Lebanese University mourns engineer Dr. Fadi Hajj Chehade
The Lebanese University and the deanship of the Faculty of Technology and the Faculty of Engineering mourn the passing of Engineer Fadi Hajj Chehade, former professor in Branch 3 who passed away on 7 June 2026.
The late professor began his academic career at the Faculty of Engineering, graduating with a degree in civil engineering, before leaving for France to pursue graduate studies. He left his academic and research mark at the Lebanese University as a professor in the Faculty of Technology and as a co-founder of the research-oriented master’s program in civil engineering at the Faculty of Engineering and the Doctoral School of Science & Technology.
The Presidency of the Lebanese University extends its deepest condolences to the family, colleagues and friends of the deceased.
