Dr. Naji Kehdi develops a smart program specializing in water sciences
Dr. Naji Kehdi, from the Faculty of Letters & Human Sciences—Branch 4 (Department of Geography), registered a literary and artistic work (computer program) with the Intellectual Property Protection Authority at the Ministry of Economy & Trade regarding a new program he developed using Python.
The HydroAI Agent is an AI agent specialized in water sciences, and was created and developed using the latest AI technologies to serve as a digital research partner capable of performing a comprehensive range of scientific tasks—from processing and analyzing data and satellite imagery to automatically and intelligently generating maps, indicators, statistics, and scientific reports, thereby reducing days and hours of work to just minutes.
This program represents a significant step toward the application of AI in the geographical sciences, particularly in the field of water sciences, with plans to expand the application’s capabilities in the future to cover various branches of human and physical geography.
