|
Procurement & Logistics Job Description:
- Monitor Stock availability of each folder to arrange purchase orders for LOS items.
- Issue Purchase Order for international purchases
- Coordinate with suppliers for delivery and shipments.
- Address any suppliers issues in case of discrepancies related to goods received
- Provide weekly reports on shipments delivery and status for the Management and Stock Department.
- Meet freight forwarders to negotiate prices and discuss improvement plans
- Perform Insurance for goods and follow up in case of accidents
- Seek new freight forwarders for better service levels as well as compare prices
- Review the suppliers invoices for matching ( between actual and prices provided) and resolve discrepancies
- Upon readiness of goods and in certain cases, decide the best mode of shipment according to time-frame and certain criteria and cost
- Follow up with the clearing agent to perform the clearing and customs process , and audit the paper and customs declaration Coordinate with the stock department for final delivery of goods to our warehouses
- Enter goods to stock through Navision Software and prepare the costing of goods according to the expenses incurred
- Coordinate export process of defective goods
- Follow up on payments and Accounts of suppliers
- Benchmark suppliers provided prices against competitors prices
- Coordinate with sales team on orders and items.
- Closing Orders Files ( checking all related expenses)
