The chess team at the Lebanese University met its counterpart at Lviv State University of Physical Culture - Ukraine virtually on 27 September 2020.

The contest came within the framework of a series of remote competitions held over Zoom and launched by the Sports Activity Department at the Lebanese University under the leadership of Zuhair Farhat and supervision of Elie Khairallah, International Referee and Officer of Game & Sports Activity in LU Branches 2.

The contest, which the Ukrainian team considered as a gesture of support and greetings to the university students of Lebanon and Beirut in these difficult circumstances, lasted for about three hours under the leadership of the international referees Elie Khairallah and Oleksandr Prokhorov.

The Lviv University team included Yuri Krasingor, Lyubomir Volosersky, Vitaly Duzrak, Vasil Medvedich, Vladislav Klazkhov, Ivan Roschenets and Vera Siduryak.

The Lebanese National team included Abdallah Khalouf, Mohammad Hamad, Krikor Bazarbajian, Issa Wehbe, Ralph Khairallah, Michel Odaimi and Karen Chelalah.
