I would like to remind you about a great opportunity for junior university professors. It is the 2018 Fulbright Junior Faculty Development Program for professors who come from the Rural and Economic Development and English Language including linguistics and Teaching of English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) disciplines. The program is for faculty development, mentoring and cultural exchange activities from July 8 through September 16, 2018. During this 10 week program, professors will be introduced to new teaching and research methods, observe classes, attend seminars, and develop linkages with American faculty through weekly mentoring sessions.

The U.S. Department of State will be covering almost all expenses that are associated with the program including, an administrative stipend, travel and professional development allowances, housing, round-trip international airfare, visa application fees and a health insurance.

The program is a great opportunity for young professors that would build their capacities and advance their skills to better serve their home universities in Lebanon. Please spread this information among all faculty members especially those who fit in the program criteria.
