LUTF participates in confronting Israeli aggression
Through the LU Task Force (LUTF), Lebanese University students are participating in confronting the Israeli aggression and supporting the displaced people in Beirut, Sidon, GIL Lebanon, the Bekaa and the North.
The work began in its first phase by focusing on providing homes and shelters for the displaced and some basic needs, within an electronic work cell formed by about 200 volunteers.
Under the supervision of the head of the University Medical Center, Dr. Elie Hadchiti, volunteers from the Faculty of Medical Sciences participated in the implementation of the Ministry of Health's plan by filling out medical assessment forms for IDPs and following up at the clinics that were opened in the two Baabda area shelters.
Some LUTF volunteers are also assisting in pillow production labs, as well as in the kitchens to prepare meals and organize recreational activities for children in the shelters.
