President Bassam Badran awarded Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, Founder and President of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh International Group, an honorary doctorate in Informatics, in the presence of the Minister of Education & Higher Education Judge Abbas Halabi and a group of deans and directors of the university faculties and institutes, as well as Dr. Antoine Charbel, President of the LU League of Full-Time Professors.

President Badran expressed his appreciation for Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh, who made exceptional contributions in multiple fields in service to society and humanitarian causes.

Minister Halabi congratulated Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh on his well-deserved honorary doctorate, pointing out his contribution to the Lebanese University in its transformation into a productive university.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed his happiness for this precious honor by the Lebanese University, praising President Badran's efforts to protect and develop the university in the most difficult circumstances.
