The President of the Lebanese University, Professor Fouad Ayoub, entrusted Dr. Randa Mubarak Fakhri with the tasks of directing the Faculty of Law, Political & Administrative Sciences (Branch 2), as of 26 October 2020 until the duly appointment of a Director.

Dr. Fakhri holds a PhD in Law from the Doctoral School of Law, Political, Administrative & Economic Sciences at the Lebanese University, a postgraduate diploma in Criminal Law from the Faculty of Law, Political & Administrative Sciences (Branch 2), and a BA in Law from Saint Joseph University in Beirut.

Dr. Fakhri produced books and articles dealing with human rights issues, discrimination against women and children, and crime in the Lebanese Juvenile Law, in addition to a field study on the position of law, the judiciary and society on drug addicts.
