The President of the Lebanese University, Professor Fouad Ayoub, met in his office at the Central Administration Building, student Maysaa Kassir from the Faculty of Fine Arts & Architecture (Branch 1 – 2nd Year, Master of Plastic Arts) on 15 July 2020. Maysaa presented to Prof. Ayoub a painting depicting a Nigerian woman wearing a mask in light of COVID-19 prevention.

Maysaa explained to President Ayoub the story of the painting (Patterns On - mixed media on board 50x70 cm), which began with the announcement of the first COVID-19 case in Nigeria, where she lived for a period of her life.

It is noteworthy that Maysaa is a member of the Syndicate of Professional Artists in Lebanon, and participated in a number of local and international art exhibitions.
