Within the framework of the efforts to develop students' capabilities and help them in the e-learning process, the President of the Lebanese University, Professor Fouad Ayoub, announced on 4 April 2020 the completion of “Noter”; the first digital application of its kind in the world of educational technology.

The application was developed by the students, Hassan Qataya and Sami Shams El-Din from the Faculty of Science (Branch 1, 3rd year - Informatics) under the supervision of Dr. Abd Al-Safadi from the Department of Informatics.

“Noter” integrates digital media technology, in particular the educational video, with the ability to digitally record and link potential notes on content, and allows the user to share written notes with fellow students or professors via e-mail.

The application also provides the ability to organize educational courses digitally, in order to maintain the smooth running of the e-learning process, and contains many features waiting announcement upon the completion of all intellectual property rights related procedures.
