Under the patronage of its president, Professor Fouad Ayoub, the Lebanese University, in cooperation with the Unified Arab Index Center, organized a three-day training session entitled: “Rules for Describing Printed Materials According to the RDA and MARC 21 Standards”, presented by Professor Muhammad Ramadan from the Unified Arab Index Center.

The session was attended by librarians and specialists in library science from the Lebanese University, a number of private Lebanese universities and some Arab universities.

At the end of the session, certificates were distributed to the participants, while the Center Director, Dr. Saleh Al-Misnad, presented an honorary trophy to the Head of the Library Management Office at the Lebanese University, Mrs. Dina Succar.
