The team of the Lebanese University – Faculty of Information (Branch 2) ranked first in the “Unleash Your Creativity” university competition organized by Fernand Hosri Group on 2 May 2019 in the Middle East Training and Conferences Center. The fourth version of this competition aimed at creating an integrated marketing campaign for Saad Tours.
Three teams of the Faculty of Information (Branch 2) were shortlisted among which: the winning team, the second team consisting of student Anthony Al-Rai, and the third team consisting of students Murielle Maalouf and Clara Merhej.
The winning team of students, Jennifer Helou, Morgana Issa, Layal Salem, Joel Dagher and Remy Bou Ghosn (third year - Public Relations and Advertising) created a unique tourist idea to attract Lebanese residents, expatriates and tourists and learn about the beautiful sites of Lebanon. The team worked under the supervision of Dr. Walid Slaibi and Dr. Nisrine Zammar from the Public Relations and Corporate Communication Department, and the competition was attended by the Head of Public Relations and Corporate Communication, Dr. Marie-Noel Al-Khoury and Dr. Dunia Greige from the Press Department.
Eleven teams from the different Lebanese universities were shortlisted among which, the LU (Faculty of Information, Branch 2), AUB, Lebanese American University (LAU), USEK, Balamand and Saint Joseph University (USJ). The teams won training courses with the most important trainers in marketing and advertising.
While the Lebanese University (LU) ranked first in the competition, the American University of Beirut (AUB) ranked second and the Holy Spirit University - Kaslik (USEK) ranked third.
