Within the framework of the activities of the “45th International Book Fair” organized by the Cultural Association in Tripoli, the wing of the Lebanese University - Faculty of Letters & Human Sciences (Branch 3) was inaugurated in the presence of Dr. Bilal Abdel-Hadi, Head of the Arabic Language Department, representing Dr. Jacqueline Ayoub, Faculty Director, Dr. Mohammad Al-Hajj, Head of the Geography Department, Alaa Shebib, Faculty Secretary, in addition to a large number of professors, students and interested persons.
Dr. Abdel Hadi praised the importance of cultural activities and the book fair, and addressed the students by saying that their voice echoed in the halls of the university, reaching the participation in the book fair hosted and sponsored by the Cultural Association.
Student Abdul Malik Al-Rifai pointed out that the date of the fair coincided with the anniversary of the Lebanese University, which he described as the university of thought, culture and the bright side of the homeland.
Student Adnan Adam considered that joining the National University is a great honor and a distinct milestone in his career, and indicated that the participation in cultural, intellectual and scientific activities is necessary to show the positive side of the National University.
The university wing witnessed book signing by a number of doctors in various specializations, in addition to scientific, intellectual and literary seminars and multiple scientific competitions, with prize distribution and a presentation of the latest student innovations.
