The Dean of the Lebanese University - Faculty of Fine Arts & Architecture, Dr. Mohammad Hosni Al Hajj, and the Mayor of Mazraat Yachouh, Mr. Salibi Al Mallah, signed an agreement for the project “Atelier pluridisciplinaire du paysage sur l'espace local” (APPEL), which will enable students and professors in the Specialized Master in Landscaping to conduct a field study for the town.

According to the agreement, the first-year Master's degree students and their professors will conduct a study that aims to find practical solutions to landscaping problems, provided that it includes a master plan for rearranging the landscape.

The signing of the agreement was attended by Dr. Germain Abdel Hay, Head of the Specialized Master's Department of Landscaping, Dr. Christiane Sfeir, Head of the Architecture Department (Branch 2), and Dr. Charbel Maskina, Mr. Farid Kassouf, Mr. Paul Ghorayeb, in addition to Municipality members, Mr. Joseph Khalil, Eng. Chaker Al Hakim, Eng. Johnny Menhem, Mr. Jihad Farah and Leon Telvazian.
