The Higher Organizing Committee of the of the “2019 Arab Economic and Social Development Summit” held a press conference at the summit venue at the Beirut Waterfront Seaside Arena, allocated to introducing all the organizational measures and procedures that will be taken during the weekend for those heading to Beirut Central District.

The General Director of Protocol department at the Presidential Palace, Dr. Nabil Chedid, said: “Regarding the organization of the ceremony, we called upon diplomats from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, and about 200 student volunteers from the Lebanese University (Faculties of Tourism & Hospitality Management, Information, Engineering and Economics & Business Administration), on the basis of the trust we have in this national institution”.

He continued: “The volunteers attended intensive training courses on the applied protocols in order to give the best image of Lebanon. The volunteers also attended joint courses with the delegations’ security agents in order to create a spirit of cooperation and coordination among them”.
