Founding Director Professor Youssef Fares received the International World Quality Commitment Award 2017 in the GOLD Category, on behalf of the Neuroscience Research Center - NRC, Lebanese University. The ceremony took place in Espace Étoile Convention Hall, in the Palais des Congrès of Paris, in France.

Professor Fares’s vision and diligent efforts led to the foundation of the NRC, in 2014. Dr. Fares wanted the NRC to be a leading multidisciplinary research and teaching center, with highly qualified researchers in the neural sciences. The NRC became the first academic research center in the Middle East and the Arab World to offer graduate research degrees in Neuroscience, Neuropsychology, and Neuroimaging.

The Award honors an organization’s merits in innovation, quality and excellence. We are very proud to have received this prestigious honor.
