The Faculty of Pharmacy is currently a remarkable educational model. Over the past years, we have adopted new teaching programs in cooperation with the International Conference of the Deans of Faculties of Pharmacy of French Expression (CIDPHARMEF) and developed new programs based on different methods consolidated by various professional masters and research, which has strengthened the skills of our students and graduates.

The vision of the Faculty is to have a national leadership role to prepare a generation of pharmacists who are actively assisting doctors to make the treatment plan a success through the proper use of medicines and the contribution to spreading health awareness in the Lebanese society.

The challenges extended to the development of research laboratories in cooperation with the Doctoral School of Science and Technology. The faculty members have also collaborated with many research laboratories in the world through joint doctoral dissertations as well as at the Masters level.

We are aiming to achieve a real partnership with the public sector in the Lebanese Government. To this end, the National Drug Monitoring Centre was established in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Health.

Our most important achievement is the National Center for the Quality of Medicine, Food, Water and Chemicals, through which we aspire to establish partnerships with several ministries and public institutions. Therefore, the Faculty of Pharmacy organized this year the first conference entitled: "Food, Drug and Water Security" with the participation of the Ministries of Health, Environment, Energy, Water, Agriculture and Economy and many distinguished researchers.

This achievement is the result of joint efforts of many professors and staff and more is yet to come.
