LU graduate designs and builds “Interfaith Dialogue” tent

Students from the Faculty of Fine Arts & Architecture – Branch 1 participated in the events accompanying Pope Leo XIV’s historic visit to Lebanon, both in terms of organization and scenography, and in terms of the meeting with Lebanese youth.

In this context, student Elie Victor Zeidan, a second-year master's student in scenography, designed and implemented the tent that hosted the interfaith dialogue in Martyrs' Square in downtown Beirut, in addition to implementing the scenography for the scene presented to the Pope during his meeting with Lebanese youth in Bkerki.

As part of the University's pastoral work, student Graziella Ghandour, a third-year theater student, played a leading role in the scene that embodied the idea of youth dreams and the hope of achieving them despite the crises and challenges facing Lebanon.
